Judy Blue Jeans are amazing and, in my opinion, one of the best denim brands out there. They are unbelievably comfortable with amazing stretch and recovery (meaning they don���t stretch out after hours of wear). Judy Blue���s are only available online so buying them and determining your size may feel a bit intimidating. We are here to make it as easy as possible by describing in detail how to select your size.
Judy Blue Jeans come in sizes 1 to 24W. They are all women���s fit and have either a mid-rise or hi-rise. The rise is the distance between the crotch seam to the top of the waistband. The rise of a jean is a personal preference.

Regular sizing is 1 to 15 and plus sizing is 14W to 24W. Please see our sizing chart! When you select a pair on our website you will see the sizing options just as you see below.

The difference between a size 15 and a 14W is a bit more room in the hips on the 14W. The waist size is the same.
For size 1 to 15 you will find your TRUE Judy Blue size by taking your department store size and sizing DOWN ONE. Don���t get scared! You need to trust us here and size down one
As an example, a department store size 8 is a Judy Blue size 7, a department store size 10 is a Judy Blue size 9.
If you are 14W to 24W, your TRUE Judy Blue size will vary depending on a few things. If you are curvy and carry your weight in your booty, hips and thighs, we recommend staying true to your department store size. However, If you are more flat in the hips and thighs, we recommend dropping down a size from your normal department store size. Again, trust us here.
WHEN do I size down TWO?? Do I ever size UP?? There are times when a certain pair of Judy Blues are extra stretchy or, like our cooling denim Judy Blues, not as stretchy. I want to be clear here���all Judy Blues are stretchy and comfortable���some are just more stretchy. This is why we suggest watching the fit video prior to purchasing. The fit video is located with the description. Slide the first picture over and the second image will be a video. If there is anything unusual about the fit it will be described in detail by Aly or Kaitlin. The videos are awesome and a great resource for you when determining fit. Don���t skip this step!


Other things you NEED TO KNOW
The inseam of a jean refers to the length of the pant leg. Typical department store jeans are a 28��� inseam for an ankle fit, 30���inseam for a regular fit and labeled tall if they are longer. Judy Blue does not label jeans as TALL even if the inseam is long. You have to pay attention to this. All inseam information is in the description of the Jean. If the inseam is a 32��� they are generally for taller women unless you are okay with cuffing, cutting or having them hemmed.
Judy Blue does not offer petite options.
We realize there are lots of options with the skinny, boyfriend, relaxed, bootcut and more. The options change daily so instead of attempting to explain each in detail and overwhelm you we suggest you watch the fit video. The fit video is located with the description. Returning your Judy Blue Jeans: Sometimes the fit is wrong and you have to return your selection. Please don���t get too concerned about this. It happens and at least now you know your size. You will need to review and follow our return policy but a few quick things - don���t remove the tags unless you are certain - return within 14 days.
